The Beck-Laker Wedding Jewels
Corrie and I met five years ago when we took a trip to Europe with her sister (and my bff) Aubrey. What an adventure — three girls with not much more than a few changes of clothes and granola bars headed out to Paris, Spain and Amsterdam for a month of sightseeing and getting acquainted with the locals. (“I learned my English from the music!”)
Well now we’re all growns up and our little Scoop is getting married. I created these bracelets, necklaces and earrings for Corrie and her nine bridesmaids to wear on her wedding day later this month.
Congrats to Corrie and Adam!
Happy Mother’s Day
This kid’s mom is so lucky to have a son with such outstanding fashion sense.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! (Especially mine!) XOXOXOXOXO
Oscar fever
Begin sales pitch now: I’ve been working on these little beauties for a week or so but all the glam of last night’s Oscars inspired me to finish the job. The pearls with sterling silver chain and geometric lavender sparkle are perfect for dressing up any casual evening outfit or pulling off a red-carpet worthy Kate Winslet impression. The pair is yours for $50. The rest is up to you!

New bling!
I made this bracelet tonight. Other designs can be found here.

Baubles galore
The jewelry-making is back in full swing. Nothing is finished yet, but here’s one of my favorite recent creations.

Shopping list
I always get nervous before going to the bead store. It can be so intimidating. Hundreds of strands of beautiful pearls, garnets, aquamarine, onyx, crystals, and glass. Boxes of sterling and pewter charms, and display cases packed full of toggles, lobster clasps and hidden treasures. It’s enough to make your head spin. But today I came prepared with a list, one with actual designs that spelled out exactly what I needed. It helped a ton, now I just have to put it all together.
